Cookie policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026This Cookie Policy explains how Gameweek uses cookies and similar browser storage on our website and in our games. It forms part of our Privacy policy.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a page remember information on your device. We mostly use local storage rather than cookies.
2.What we use
| Name | Type | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Local storage (essential) | The prediction game and the customer dashboard | Keeps you signed in between visits |
| PostHog | Local storage (analytics) | Our website, the customer dashboard, and the prediction game and widgets embedded on customers' sites | A random identifier and session recordings, so we can understand how pages are used and fix problems. Hosted in the EU. |
| Cookie choice | Local storage (essential) | Our website | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we don't ask again |
Our website, the prediction game, the widgets and the customer dashboard set no cookies.
3.What analytics never records
Password fields are never recorded, and we strip sign-in and invitation tokens from any web address before it is recorded.
4.Managing cookies
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or reject cookies. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser's settings, or block them altogether. Blocking essential storage means you will need to sign in again on each visit.
