This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Gameweek ("we," "us") collects when you use our sports prediction games (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1.Information we collect

We do not collect payment information, since the Service is free to use and involves no monetary transactions from users.

2.How we use your information

• To operate the Service — creating your account, scoring your predictions, showing leaderboards
• To communicate with you — e.g. password resets, important account or Service notices
• To maintain security and prevent abuse (e.g. detecting multiple accounts or automated prediction submission)
• To improve the Service based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns

3.Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• The operator of the specific site/app you're using Gameweek through, since your predictions and username are part of that operator's competition (e.g. their leaderboard).
• Service providers who help us run the Service, such as our database and hosting provider (Supabase), under contracts requiring them to protect your data.
• Legal authorities, if required by law.

4.Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal reasons.

5.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@gameweek.cloud.

If you're located in the EU or UK: our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (running your account and the Service you've signed up for) and legitimate interest (security and fraud prevention). If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

6.Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential browser storage (via local storage) to keep you signed in between visits. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7.Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

8.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page, and for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify users.
